Sharon is an RN with over 20 years experience in maternal child health, oncology, and ophthalmology. She was the RN coordinator for an internationally known fertility clinic for five years, worked over ten years in labor and delivery, and took care of the tiniest newborns in neonatal intensive care.
Sharon has also co authored the following books for the Dummies series(Wiley Publishing):
- Fertility for Dummies
- Breastfeeding for Dummies
- Osteoporosis for Dummies
- Endometriosis for Dummies
- Healthy Aging for Dummies
- Infertility for Dummies
Sharon has also acted as developmental editor for a number of Dummies series books.
Sharon's hobbies and interests include:
- Working with a Christian charity that staffs and runs several orphanages in Romania
- Travel
- Disney(more of an obsession than a hobby!)
- Spending time with grandchildren
- Reading anything
- Writing whatever comes to mind
- Scrapbooking
- Running the church bookstore
